Welcome to Neustar’s award-winning headquarters – a 90,000 sq ft testament to connection and well-being. From the moment you step inside, you sense a space meticulously crafted, thanks to HKS Inc., to embody Neustar’s core mission: “Creating trusted connections at the moment that matter most.” The journey begins with a statement piece: an interconnecting staircase, a central artery uniting three floors of innovative design.
SCULPTING SERENITY –
THE ACOUSTIC CANOPY
Look up. Above the office floors at Neustar, Arktura’s TriSoft® acoustic clouds float like a serene, triangular canopy. More than just geometric aesthetics; they provide critical acoustic comfort throughout the open spaces and private rooms, all while cleverly allowing access to essential building systems.
BRANDED SOUNDSCAPES –
CUSTOMIZATION AT SCALE
Deeper into the workspace, SoundEdge® acoustic baffles take center stage. Notice their unique interlocking hexagonal pattern and the calming, custom minty-green hue – a direct nod to Neustar’s brand colors. This was achieved with custom joiner brackets, a smart solution by Arktura enabling a unique layout that also seamlessly integrates linear lighting, echoing the geometric language of the TriSoft® clouds.
ILLUMINATED DREAMS – THE VAPOR® PIXEL EXPERIENCE
Adding another layer of visual poetry is the Vapor® Pixel torsion-spring panel system. Its ethereal, cloud-like perforated pattern, brought to life with high-performance Arktura Backlighting, creates a visually stunning effect, flowing from elevator lobbies to entryways, ensuring a continuous, high-end aesthetic.
TRIUMPH OVER TRIALS – BUILDING IN UNPRECEDENTED TIMES
This masterpiece didn’t emerge without its hurdles. Construction commenced in March 2021, during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Bringing unforeseen delays and complications. Beyond that, the team, including installer Rand Construction, expertly navigated complex MEP, sprinkler, and critical Audio/Visual integrations – a must for a leading technology firm. Our approach? Delivering adaptable, pre-configured systems as a “simple kit of parts” to streamline installation despite the complexities.
THE VISION REALIZED – A SPACE THAT SPEAKS
The result? A world-class, LEED-certified headquarters that’s not just visually stunning but performative. As HKS architect Nathan Ferrance put it, “Arktura made the space. The ceiling plane defines the project and helps give it its identity.” It’s a built environment that truly showcases Neustar’s brand and mission, proving that thoughtful design can indeed create trusted connections.
