The Atmosphera® ceiling treatment reinforced the overall design concept for the National Museum of African American Music’s expansive public lobby designed by Donna Gilliam Interiors. The gallery’s River of Rhythms’ exhibit area inspired the design cues for the lobby. Atmosphera’s wavy pattern was the perfect complement as it mimics the constant flow of water and music’s rhythm. Not to mention, the product allowed the designer to integrate a multi-layered lighting design, which was integral to achieving the desired effect in the lobby.
