Scoreboard LAX
This perforated panel system for Scoreboard, a sports bar in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, LAX, was designed “in the round” as a sculptural object. Its graphic motif is based on graduated hexagonal cutouts and references the flight of a soccer ball in midair. Lights on a motion sensor are integrated within the double-layered panel system, introducing variations of light and shadow within the space defined by the installation.
