Is it just us, or are we seeing double? Arktura was recently awarded dual honors at this year’s CISCA Construction Excellence Awards. These back-to-back wins come on the heels of our dual award success at last year’s ceremony. This year, the awards were handed out at CISCA’s Annual Convention in Las Vegas, NV.
CISCA (Ceilings and Interior Systems Construction Association) presented this year’s awards to the manufacturers, contractors, distributors, and independent reps that produced excellent projects for the built environment. With entries from across the country being judged by a panel of industry professionals, Arktura is honored to take home honors for two distinctive, innovative projects.
Phoenix Sky Harbor
Phoenix Sky Harbor was awarded a Manufacturer’s Award (Manufacturer – Civic – Above 50,000 sqft – West) for creating a custom acoustic ceiling structure that towers above busy travelers at Phoenix’s Terminal 4. Reminiscent of nearby sand dunes, this impressive structure is part of a larger-scale project to help increase traveler wellness at one of the nation’s busiest airports.
Confidential Biotech HQ
Part of a new HQ for a confidential client, this project received a Manufacturer’s Award (Manufacturer – HealthCare – Below 50,000 sqft – East) featuring a staggering, multi-floor custom creation from Arktura’s Solutions Studio. These colorfully large baffles span the building’s 7-9th floor and are held together through an innovative puzzle-piece-like groove engineered for this project.
These awe-inspiring projects showcase the capabilities of Arktura’s Solutions Studio. Custom creations derived from back-and-forth collaboration between Arktura, designers, installers, end users, and more. Both visually remarkable, these structures will provide acoustic attenuation for inhabitants below, leading to a more calm and serene space for all.
