Arktura Supports Innovation in Architecture with ACADIA 2021 Conference Sponsorship

Arktura is proud to be a Presenting Sponsor of the 2021 ACADIA, Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture, conference, celebrating ACADIA’s 40th anniversary,

ACADIA2021 Realignments: Toward Critical Computation will take place globally and virtually, November 3-6. Featuring workshops, peer-reviewed studies, keynote presentations, and discussion panels all centered on “enabling realignments toward inclusive and critical practices in architecture at scale.”

ACADIA is an international network of digital design researchers and professionals. Through their year-round work and annual conference, this organization “facilitates critical investigations into the role of computation in architecture, planning, and building science, encouraging innovation in design creativity, sustainability, and education.”

Highlighting the importance of these systems’ approach to enabling creative solutions for a more equitable society, through architecture and design, featured keynotes will address current practices placing urgency on empowerment. After going virtual last year due to the ongoing pandemic, this year’s conference looks to be the best to date.

Kicking off November 3rd with a full slate of keynotes & sessions covering topics from Intersectionality and Emancipatory design to AI and emerging trends, these educational seminars are chock full of valuable resources for the architectural community as the industry strives to move toward a more sustainable and equitable future. Each year this conference produces research and studies that are global in impact.
