We celebrated a full year at our new centralized headquarters in Southern California. This move brought nearly our entire US workforce into one building, allowing for easier, more accessible collaboration across teams and departments.
This year we brought new leadership to Arktura as we welcomed our new President and GM, Amy Hahne. Amy joins us with more than 25 years of executive leadership experience at Legrand, where she held successive Vice President & General Manager positions running several of Legrand’s P&L businesses.
We announced an inventive collaboration with modular ceilings manufacturer Overcast Innovations in early December. This partnership brings three original Silhouette designs to their Cloud system of modular ceiling systems for commercial buildings.
Our newest acoustic system, released in late November, brings a modern acoustic design as stunning as it is versatile; GeoSound™ Diamond delivers streamlined geometric modularity. Its beveled, diamond-shaped form can be used in flat minimalist fields or clustered together to produce dazzling dimensional displays.
The Vivids Collection joins our Soft Sound® library, featuring 10 new vibrant colors inspired by art and fashion. The collection provides energetic yet visually appealing designs for our line of acoustic systems.
LumAngle™ introduces a new line of lighting pendants that offers versatile and modern lighting solutions for commercial spaces. LumAngle™ features three distinct angles (90°, 120°, and 180°); these pendants provide efficient LED illumination and customizable installation options.
The flagship SoftGrid® collection expands with three new designs: SoftGrid® Nexus, SoftGrid® Forge, and SoftGrid® Rosette. These innovative suspended ceiling acoustic modules offer enhanced aesthetics and noise reduction for commercial spaces.
Arktura’s custom project with HKS Architects for Textron Systems won the Manufacturer’s Award at the 2024 CISCA Construction Excellence Awards. The project featured an expansive acoustic baffle system and a bespoke faceted wall panel system, showcasing Arktura’s design and construction capabilities.
We saw double at this year’s Architizer A+ Product Awards. We were selected as the Jury Winner in the Acoustics category for the Arborisa™ collection and the Popular Choice Winner in the Walls & Wall Coverings category for our collaboration with Pure + FreeForm.
We partnered with Mychal’s Cafe to enhance the acoustics of their new Redondo Beach location, using the SoftGrid® Rosette system. This project improved clear communication and created a more inclusive and welcoming environment for employees and patrons.
This project at North Bend Elementary in Humble, Texas, features innovative acoustic installations from the Atmosphera® collection designed to enhance the learning environment. The project combines playful aesthetics with effective sound management, creating a vibrant and functional space for students and educators.
Our team came together this past February to stock and distribute care packages for those in need in our community. This charity drive helped out two local organizations, A Placed Called Home and The Sidewalk Project.
Full speed ahead as this year we celebrated 5 years of our annual Pinewood Derby. This event, hosted at our LA HQ and live streamed to our Ark Studio team in Argentina, showcased our team’s creative efforts in decorating and racing their wooden cars.
The ghouls and goblins (and other funny costumes) were in full swing this Halloween. We held a spooky costume contest with three creative categories: Scariest, Most Arktistic, and Best Group Costumes.
