In 2023, we pushed the boundaries of what we thought was possible, achieving some remarkable milestones in the process. This year featured product launches, award wins, and notable projects furthering our commitment to bringing innovative solutions to the built environment.
We were honored to be able to give back to our local community this year through charity drives and volunteering opportunities with our staff. Overall, it was a year of growth, as well as reinvestment in our company, bringing our team together through events like our Pinewood Derby and Summer Luau!
As we reflect on the year, we feel proud of all the landmarks we have achieved as a company that we would love to share with you. So, without further ado, let us jump into these highlights.
2023 saw the relocation and consolidation of Arktura’s operations, including production, warehousing, and offices, to a new unified location. Our new headquarters is centrally located in Southern California, minutes from our previous space. It features 17,000 square feet of office area spread across two floors and 112,000 square feet of factory floor.
In September 2023, we unveiled the company’s Core Values to our team, which build upon our longstanding DNA as innovators in our field. Although some of the language may be new, these values have been a part of our organization for a long time. These values are a testament to our dedication to preserving our identity and serve as guiding principles in all our endeavors.

Arborisa™ offers an innovative approach to acoustic modules with four distinct topiary-inspired designs. These forms take inspiration from the natural shape of tree canopies, creating a dynamic and fully immersive collection of acoustic clouds that blanket any space beneath them.
Bringing a colorful refresh to our performative acoustic material, this year we introduced the Elementals Collection of Soft Sound® acoustic finishes. The Elementals Collection features ten new finishes inspired by the beauty of the world around us, available to specify for acoustic systems and backers for orders beginning January 1st, 2024.
Bringing designers and architects the best of both worlds, we now offer premium metal finishes from metal design studio Pure + FreeForm. Take your commercial interior project to the next level of design thanks to the stunning specialty finishes of Pure + FreeForm paired with the precisely perforated panels from Arktura.
Adding depth and dimension to your design, our Delta Drop® line of faceted wall and ceiling panels now allows more diverse application possibilities than ever through the addition of two new panel styles – Flat Panels & Transition Panels.
Our SoftGrid® family of immersive acoustic cloud systems welcomed three distinct new designs to this expansive collection this year. With the addition of Tempo, Tilt, and Trella, this versatile line of design-forward modules now offers specifiers contemporary design options for their next interior project.
Double the honors, double the fun! Arktura had plenty to celebrate as we clinched two prestigious wins at this year’s Architectural Record’s 2023 Record Product of the Year awards. We took home two prizes in the Ceiling and Wall Coverings categories for the following launches: Arktura x Pure + FreeForm Premium Finish Panels Expansion and the 2023 SoftGrid Expansions.
Earlier this year, our team was awarded dual honors at the CISCA Construction Excellence Awards. With entries from across the country judged by a panel of industry professionals, we were honored to take home prizes for two distinct, innovative projects: Phoenix Sky Harbor and a Confidential Biotech HQ.
Arktura outfitted the walls and ceiling of the Alabama A&M Event Center in Huntsville, AL, with a series of eye-catching perforated panels finished in the university’s signature colors. This ambitious project crafts an immersive collegiate experience for athletes and fans, brimming with school spirit.
Vapor® Cluster panels in the arena’s interior and the main locker rooms feature circular cutouts in a grid pattern, adding a unique touch to the arena’s ceiling. In the locker rooms, these same panels can be seen encircling the room’s seating around the university logo in the center of the room floor.
The entrance to 1900 Gallows Rd in Tysons, VA, welcomes guests and employees with an illuminated greeting shining from custom-designed Vapor® panels. This distinguished project features a tailored linear perforated design in these high-quality aluminum panels.
Bringing over 150 total custom-design Vapor® panels to this project in a Burnished Bronze powder-coated finish, we developed a striking pattern for these panels that offers a bespoke greeting to guests.
We took time this year to give back to our local community and our own team. Employees from the office to the factory floor came together to collect over 200 boxes of food to help make a difference to local families in our community this Thanksgiving season.
As winter came, we hosted our annual Blanket Drive, partnering with The Sidewalk Project. Once again, the team came together for our annual Share the Love event earlier this year, collecting and packaging personal care kits and clothing for our unhoused community members.
Giving back to our team is a wonderful way to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication to fueling possibilities. We celebrated with a festive company luau and a special Friday the 13th edition of our annual Pinewood Derby!
